Head Spa Training

THE ROLE OF SAKURA HEAD SPA

What 400+ professionals taught us about Head Spa training

Sakura Head Spa is a supplier of equipment and consulting services—not a training organization. For several years, we have equipped and supported over 400 professionals who have ventured into head spa: hairdressers, beauticians, freelancers, salon managers.

They all had one question in common before ordering their equipment: "Where can I get serious training?"

We've heard this question hundreds of times. And we've also heard the follow-up—the post-training feedback, the satisfactions, the regrets, the pitfalls narrowly avoided. It's based on this on-the-ground feedback that we have compiled a selection of rigorously evaluated trainers.

Whether you are looking for Japanese head spa training or hair spa training, your region, your status, your approach to care, and the type of clientele you target determine which trainer is right for you. We help you make this choice—without pitfalls, without unpleasant surprises.

What the field taught us

The pitfalls of poor Head Spa training

Not all training programmes are equal. Here are the warning signs identified through feedback from our clients.

⚠ Trainer with no real salon experience

A trainer who has never worked in a salon cannot prepare you for the realities of the job: managing treatment time, adapting to each client's profile, handling frequent questions. The protocol learned remains theoretical — hard to apply in real conditions from day one.

⚠ Very low price = impoverished content

A serious head spa training covers the full protocol, posture, scalp diagnosis, products and the commercial aspect. Below a certain price threshold, entire sections are cut. You leave with the basics — but not with what it takes to start confidently and charge the right price.

⚠ No post-training support

The real questions arise after the training, not during. Without an accessible community or follow-up, the first weeks of activity are often filled with paralysing doubts. Access to the trainer or a group of practitioners makes all the difference to confidence at launch.

⚠ Poorly defined protocol, regulations ignored

Head spa sits at the intersection of hairdressing, skincare and massage. Training that does not address the regulatory framework of your activity, the limits of the aesthetic act, or mandatory legal mentions exposes you to administrative difficulties — and undermines your professional legitimacy from the outset.

WE GUIDE YOU TOWARDS THE TRAINING ADAPTED TO YOUR PROJECT

Drawing on feedback from over 400 professionals we've supported, Sakura has built a selection of certified trainers, evaluated over time, and located all over the world.

Your location, your status, your preference for in-person training, your approach to head spa, the type of clientele you target—these are all parameters that determine which trainer will be the best fit for you. During your discovery call, we take the time to understand your project and guide you towards the training that will allow you to start with complete confidence, with a solid protocol and the necessary professional legitimacy.

Funding options

Finance your Head Spa training

Qualiopi certification opens access to the main professional funding schemes.

OPCO

Employed professional

If you work as an employee in a salon or institute, your OPCO (professional training fund) may cover all or part of the training cost. Contact your employer or your sector's OPCO to put together the application.

FAFCEA

Self-employed artisan

Artisans under the trades register can apply to FAFCEA to fund their training. The application is made directly with FAFCEA, before the training begins.

France Travail

Job seeker

If you are seeking employment or changing careers, France Travail may, in certain cases, contribute to your training costs. Each application is assessed on a case-by-case basis with your adviser, based on the consistency and strength of your project.

Note regarding CPF: the Head Spa specialisation is not listed in the RNCP or the France Compétences Specific Directory. No training exclusively dedicated to Head Spa is therefore eligible for CPF funding. Any organisation offering this funding is using a fraudulent arrangement — you risk having to repay the full amount and having your CPF account permanently blocked. Use OPCO, FAFCEA or France Travail depending on your status.

FAQ EXPRESS
